Details and rules

Good to know

1. The competition is organised for amateur children who are not members of ski clubs. A child may not compete on racing skis.
2. Children in each category and group will be handed over to the instructors.
3. Together with the instructors there will be a warm-up and a joint practice run — a course inspection, so that the children know how to ski it.
4. Only instructors of the STRAMA School may be at the start with the children.
5. For a run to count, the child must complete the slalom course along the correct line. For every gate or cross obstacle missed or taken incorrectly, 5 seconds are added.
6. The winner is the person who records the best time with a correct run.
7. Everyone starts only once — a re-run is possible only in the event of a technical fault on the organiser's side.
8. Parents and guardians are not allowed on the slalom course; spectators may only be in the designated areas.
9. The run time will be posted on the results board.
10. A helmet is compulsory.

Entries: in person at the STRAMA School office (ul. Balzera 28, Zakopane) daily 9:00–19:00, by e-mail or by phone: 18 20 116 46, 18 20 114 41.
When entering, the child's date of birth must be documented (for online or telephone entries — the document is shown when the race number is collected).
Children taking part in the 6-day winter holiday courses are entered for the competition when their course booking is accepted.

Race numbers can be collected on Saturday between 9:00 and 9:30 at the STRAMA School office next to the reception. The competition starts at 9:30 — from that time until the end of their run the children are in the care of the instructors.

In each category there will be a separate classification for girls and for boys. Every child receives a medal for taking part; for the first three places in each category — a cup for the winner and medals.
At the end, valuable prizes are drawn among all those who took part in the competition.
The announcement of the results, the prize-giving ceremony and the prize draw take place every Saturday of the winter holidays after the competition. The results announcement and prize-giving ceremony are planned for 12:30.

Justified complaints and protests must be submitted in writing no later than 15 minutes after the end of the competition at the STRAMA School office. Fee for considering a protest: PLN 80.
