About the race
The Stramus Bear Cup crowns several weeks of winter holiday training and courses and is a perfect opportunity for children to show the skiing and snowboarding skills they have gained.
Children aged 4 to 14 can take part in the Cup (snowboarders up to 16). Depending on the discipline, children are classified in the appropriate age category, and young skiers are additionally divided into competitors in the CLUB and RECREATION categories. Competitors compete for one of the three places on the podium in each category, with separate classifications for boys and girls. The races are held in the ski Ski Cross format and as a snowboard slalom. These are among the largest races for children in Poland, with a very attractive prize package for the winners and a rich entertainment programme for all participants!
For skiers: RECREATION from the 2023 age group and younger up to the 2013 age group, CLUB from the 2023 age group and younger up to the 2017 age group (club and recreation with separate classifications for girls and boys). For snowboarders: from the 2020 age group and younger up to the 2011 age group.

Cups, certificates and prizes will be awarded for the first three places in each category, and attractive prizes will be drawn among all the participants. It is a very spectacular event, full of excitement and fun. The number of starting places is limited, so do not wait with your entry!

Meet Stramuś Bear

Stramus Bear is a friend of children and the patron of the 6 Stramus Bear Badges training programme and of the Safe on the Slope with Stramus Bear educational campaign, both run by the STRAMA School.
The bear lives in a cabin at the foot of Nosal. He has been skiing since he was very small and enjoys it greatly, so every winter he walks among the pistes, teaching and cheering on the children who ski. A few years ago Stramus also took a liking to snowboarding, so he encourages children to take up the challenge and try a new sport!
Before the competition starts, together with the instructors and carers, he will lead a warm-up for the children and teach them the basic exercises that will help them prepare well for their runs and avoid injuries.
