About the course

Course overview

Participants taking part in the course must be at intermediate or advanced level. The aim of the course is primarily to improve skiing technique.

During classes we practice skiing on ski runs, and we also introduce elements of sport skiing in slalom. On Wednesday, a trip to another ski resort is organized where we will train off-piste skiing and giant slalom. On Thursday, as standard, speed measurement on a marked run. On Friday, a technical skiing exam will take place, which aims to assess skills and assign to the appropriate level of advancement. At the end of the course, children will compete on Saturday in SKI CROSS slalom races.

2 godziny Voucher for selected workshops and attractions at Stramuśland (to be used any day during the course)

08.30 Meeting under Nosal, departure to another slope - please be punctual

09.30-13.30 Ski training, giant slalom and off-piste skiing (with a lunch break)

14.15 Planned return to Nosal

18.00-19.00 Magician show

Thursday

09.30-12.00 Speed measurement, training on runs for badges and SKI CROSS

12.15 Lunch with instructors at Stacja Nosal Restaurant

12.15-14.15 Stramuś photo booth (school building, next to reception)

13.15 Departure to another slope

17.00 Planned return to Nosal

18.00-19.00 Night skiing with attractions on the slope (for children skiing independently or under parental supervision. Instructors are present and run attractions, they do not conduct training. Lift pass required – we suggest an evening pass or 1h)

To collect course packages, please visit us on Sunday from 2:00 PM or on Monday from 8:30 AM to 9:45 AM.

Refund of the amount paid for the course – reduced by a handling fee of 100 PLN/person (but not more than 300 PLN in the case of families) – is possible:
- without stating a reason 72 hours before the start of the course
- with a medical certificate less than 72 hours before the start of the course
Refund is also possible at any time during the course in case of illness (with a medical certificate) in the amount reduced by the days used.

Before the course

How to prepare

1 Collection of course package – we remind you of the need to collect the package at the school office within the specified time. Early collection will allow you to start training without unnecessary rush.

2 Preparing your child's index – applies to children who have already participated in Strama School courses and have an index (please bring it with you).

3 Equipment rental before classes – if you do not have your own equipment, please rent it in advance. This will allow you to start classes fully ready to ski.

4 A helmet is mandatory until age 16.

5 Equipment protection (applies to away classes) – please properly protect your equipment (e.g., with a cover) to facilitate safe transport and protect the equipment from scratches.

6 Providing provisions (applies to away classes) – please prepare a drink and a light snack for your child (e.g., energy bar)

7 Punctuality – please arrive on time for classes
